Genesis Prototype Program

CBT’s Genesis Prototype Program is designed to help engineers quickly move from concept to product. Our dedicated Prototyping team will collaborate with you on design, manufacturability, and cost efficiency issues - with an eye to longer term production solutions. Genesis- From Concept-to-Prototype...

Collaborative Effort from Concept to Product for custom solutions

  • Genesis Team will partner with engineering to translate a concept into a prototype as quickly as possible (often in 2 weeks or less dependingon tooling/parts availability)
  • In depth review of design and/or manufacturing issues
  • Focus on long term design/pricing and manufacturing strategy – up front to minimize any challenges as program transitions to production
  • Seamless transition to production

FAST prototyping of open architecture solutions leveraging CBT’s extensive
portfolio of standard products for ATCA, AMC, PCI, ATX, PMC, FMC, Dot Ten
(CPCI, VME64X, VXS, VPX)

  • Typically 5 days (without silkscreening)

Genesis prototypes can be produced in 5 days from a vast range of CBT Technology's platform products by use of dedicated Genesis materials inventory and an ‘Express’ engineering process.

Process Includes:

  • Acceptance of Prototype PO
  • Prototype documentation – configure the solution to meet customers requirements
  • Kit required components from kanban
  • Customize per customer specific requirements (I/O cutouts, vent holes, handle cutouts)
  • Final Assembly
  • Ship to Customer… in 5 DAYS !

The Genesis Prototyping Program is designed to produce custom prototype products with leadtime to meet the requirements of your development project.
